Dr. Schuenemeyer holds a PhD in statistics from the University of Georgia (1975). He received a BS degree in applied mathematics in 1969 and an MS degree in mathematics in 1971 from the University of Colorado. He was a professor of statistics in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Delaware from 1976 through 2000 and a mathematical statistician for the U.S. Geological Survey (on a full and part time basis) from 1975 through 2001. As director of the statistical consulting center at the University of Delaware from 1983 through 1999, he assisted clients to solve problems in many disciplines. Dr. Schuenemeyer, the author of 100 research publications, has given numerous invited talks, an d conducted workshops for scientists from industry and government, and educators.
